Ang Geck Geck  Priscilla  graduated from the School of Art, Design and Media majoring in Filmmaking.Instilled with a good work ethic from an early age, Ang Geck Geck started working at 13 and has never looked back since. She would even juggle two-three jobs while schooling. Her work is driven by her desire to give a voice to the weak. She believes a good film can touch the lives of many which she believes, can make the world a better place to live in.She has directed various short films and commer- cial works. In recent years, she has worked with brands such as OCBC, POSB, MasterCard, Hotel Jen Tanglin and HP. She has also worked with notable creative agencies such as BBH, BBDO, Grey Agency and McCann.In 2013, her debut film, Broken Crayon, received a few accolades and won the Best Short film award at the Singapore Short film Festival. She was also featured in Straits Times and other online articles such as Blouin Artinfo.Pricilla took her influence overseas, becoming an Alumni of the Busan Asian Film Academy (AFA) in Korea as a director where she made a short film titled Black Mirror with fellow Asian filmmakers in 2014.Another notable achievement of Geck’s was being awarded a $250,000 grant from Media Development Agency, an rare feat in the Singapore Film Industry.Besides being behind the camera, Geck has also been featured in various television, magazine and newspaper articles for her achievements as a young female director. She was mentioned in The Straits Times article ‘30 of Singapore's Rising Stars Under 30’ and appeared on the cover of the ‘HEY NTU!’ magazine as a successful alumnus.In 2016, Geck was featured alongside other panelists which included Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam in a Channel 5 Talk Show called ‘Let’s Talk About It’ where she represented her generation’s counterparts and also an artist in the Singapore Arts Scene.
